You Finally Admit Receiving Money From MoU, Warisan Tells DAP

KOTA KINABALU: A Warisan leader has called upon DAP to come clean, after the latter’s recent admittance that Pakatan Harapan did receive funding from the Federal Government, after signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UMNO’s Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

In a statement released on Monday, Samuel Wong who is Warisan Luyang Branch Chief said that PH owes the people an explanation regarding the allocation of funds.

He was responding to DAP’s Kota Kinabalu Member of Parliament, Chan Foong Hin’s statement admitting that PH did receive funding from the Federal Government.

Chan however, said such funds was spent on the public.

“Finally a DAP MP has admitted that all PH MPs received money from the BN government, after signing the MOU.”

“But this was never disclosed to the public all these while, until Warisan revealed that RM166.7 million in direct grant and RM178 million in project allocation.”

“Why did PH keep quiet about the funding? Nothing was disclosed in the run-up to the signing of MOU.”

“PH MPs should explain in detail how every single cent was spent.”

Samuel also questioned PH if this was a form of bribery to keep the government of the day intact.

“Is this a form of bribery? Is PH keeping the BN government of the day intact, in exchange for hundreds of millions of funding via the MOU?”

Elaborating further, Samuel said that allocation funds should not be based on the MOU, but genuine parliamentary reforms.

“If PH says the MOU is for parliamentary reforms, then the reforms should include allocation for every single MP and their constituencies.”

“But that was not the case.”

“Only those who signed the MOU to support UMNO’s Ismail Sabri were given money.”

“As for those who did not sign the MOU, no money was given.”

“Is this PH’s so called parliamentary reforms? Or does it look more like PH has been bought by UMNO?”

“What is worse is PH went a step further by trying another Sabah-level MOU with GRS.”

“Lim Guan Eng flew all the way from KL to Sabah to secretly meet Bersatu’s Hajiji.”

“After it was exposed only DAP hurriedly went to meet Shafie.”
