Sugarbun Shares CNY Festivities With Less Fortunate

KUCHING: As part of its yearly CSR Project titled “Another Community Project by SugarBun”, the local franchise brand extended Chinese New Year celebrations to the elderly by visiting the residents of Rumah Seri Kenangan Old Folks Home recently.

A few days later, the food outlet opened its restaurant to the children of Salvation Army.

At both occasions, meals, gifts and “Ang Pow” were provided to all 68 residents and 26 caretakers of the old folks home as well as the 80 children with 10 caretakers.

These children are of from Salvation Army Children’s home, Boys home and students of Special Needs learning centre.

Another Community Project by SugarBun is an ongoing CSR program since the founding of the company until today.

The program encourages employee participation in driving social awareness for the underprivileged, handicapped and filial piety.
