Sipitang Hospital Receives Contribution From Petronas Trust Fund

SIPITANG: Dana Asy-Syakirin, a trust fund under PETRONAS contributed RM44,160 worth of medical equipment to Sipitang Hospital on Friday.

Raja Iskandar Arifin Raja Azman, the PETRONAS’ Head of Human Resource Management handed over the equipment to Dr Izzul Syazwan Ismail, Sipitang Hospital Deputy Director who represented the hospital’s director Dr Christopher Charles Chau.

The items consisted of three patient transfer trolleys, four units of nebuliser, two suction pumps, a baby weighing scale, and a unit of patient monitor.

Also present were Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS Chemicals Fertiliser Sabah Sdn Bhd Mohd Kamis Manap, General Manager of PETRONAS Sabah and Labuan Regional Office Rokiah Sulaiman, Sipitang Assistant District Officer Daud Kassim, and a representative of Sipitang Community Development Leaders Unit Jamil Puteh.

Apart from Friday’s contribution, Dana Asy-Syakirin had also contributed back-to-school items to some 960 students in 19 schools in Sabah, last month.
