Communications and Multimedia Ministry (KKMM) Strategic Communications Division secretary Datuk Almain Ajirul said the allocation of RM4.4 billion proved the federal government is committed to the state’s development agenda to stimulate the socio-economic landscape to a higher level.
“The economic cake sharing could be a catalyst to help realise the development aspirations of Sarawak holistically especially in the rural areas,” he said when opening a special briefing on Budget 2020 and current issues at state level at P. Ramlee Auditorium in RTM Kuching today.
At the briefing, Almain hoped all key communicators present could play their roles as mini ambassadors to disseminate information to the grassroots and ensure each message reached the people.
Among the agencies involved at the briefing were RTM, Information Department, Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) and the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS).
