KOTA KINABALU: Sabah PAS will be trying again to break the duck in the forthcoming state election.
It has identified several state seats to contest, according to PAS Sabah Commissioner Mohd Aminuddin Aling.
“The central leadership will negotiate on these seats with our partners, ” he said in a statement here today.
Two years ago the party fielded 18 candidates in state constituencies but came up short.
Aminuddin said its candidates were charismatic, with high integrity and who would be able to carry out their duties fairly.
“Sabah PAS is friendly to all its political allies in the state, and our aim is to win the snap polls together, ” he said.
PAS is part of the Perikatan Nasional coalition which forms the federal government.
