Sabah Continues Receiving Aid To Fight COVID-19

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor today received two types of donations to help the state in fighting COVID-19.

The donations comprised cash of RM50,000 from 99 Speed Mart East Malaysia Sdn Bhd and 5,000 units of personal protection equipment (PPE) from Yayasan MyPrihatin.

Hajiji said he hoped that the cooperation between the state government and the private sector and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Sabah would continue to persist to enable the state to win the fight against COVID-19.

“I’m happy to know that many companies and NGOs have come forward with donations for the people who were badly affected by the pandemic. On behalf of the state government, I thank you,” he said in a statement today.
