Sabah Allows China Workers Back

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah will allow all foreign workers from China to now return to the state but they must be Covid-19 free.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal who made the announcement today said they should undergo the Covid-19 test three days before arriving in Sabah.

He said their entry would be subject to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of the state Health Department and also comply with the regulations of the Immigration Department.

Shafie also said that state authorities were monitoring 236 government and mission schools that had reopened to ensure SOPs were being followed to curb the spread of Covid-19.
