KOTA KINABALU: The latest case recorded in Sabah today involved a pregnant woman who received treatment at the Nabawan health clinic and needed to be referred to a specialist hospital.
The patient who was infected through local transmission was then admitted to Keningau Hospital for further treatment.
State Health Director Datuk Dr Christina Rundi in a statement said that contact tracing has been initiated by the Nabawan health office.
She added that the latest case has tallied the total number of Covid-19 infection in the state to 380 with a total of six active cases left.
Meanwhile, a total of 367 patients had recovered and were discharged from the hospital, including one recovered patient in Ranau reported today.
As of current, a total of 1,085 individuals across the state are still under quarantine with 887 quarantined at home and 171 at 11 various quarantine centres.
The numbers have brought the total cumulative of statewide quarantined ndividuals to 71,435
