The decision was announced by deputy speaker Rashid Hanson.
The Opposition MPs had earlier called for a bloc voting to decide on the motion tabled by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
One MP,namely Datuk Seri Maximus Ongili (PN- Kota Marudu) was absent with leave and one vote was unaccounted for according to a Malay Mail report.
The House will vote to appoint a new speaker and replace deputy speaker Nga Kor Ming after lunch.
