New integrated portal for Sabah Bantuan COVID-19 up and running

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah state government is making it easy for eligible Sabahans to apply for the Bantuan COVID-19 and check other related matters by introducing a new integrated portal system –

State secretary Datuk Safar Untong said the new system is also expanded to include Sabahans residing in Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak.

“All records and applications in the previous system have been integrated and linked to the current system. The security and integrity of personal data are also assured,” he said in a statement today.

He added that taxi, bus, truck and rental car drivers are also eligible to apply for the aid.

Other eligible groups include farmers, smallholders, fishermen, breeders, mountain guides, the elderly, orphans, single mothers and persons with disabilities (OKU).
