Missing Woman In Kinabatangan Has Fallen Prey To Crocodile

KINABATANGAN – A woman reported missing while collecting oil palm fruits, is believed to have fallen prey to a crocodile in Ladang Genting Mewah, here Saturday.

A statement from Sabah Fire and Rescue Department Operation Centre said villagers reported seeing the 22 year-old woman being attacked by a crocodile at 8.30 am.

Firefighters from Kinabatangan Division began the search operation at 11.40am as the scene was located 35 kilometres from Kinabatangan fire station.

The statement said until this evening, they have yet to find the victim and would continue the search operation Sunday.
