Labuan Health Department director, Dr Ismuni Bohari said the team would be assisting the Labuan COVID-19 squad for a month.
“We had requested for the mobilisation of healthcare personnel through the Ministry of Health…and today we received them, certainly their willingness to come to Labuan will help lift some weight off our shoulders,” he said during a briefing for the health officers upon their arrival at the Labuan Health Department, here, today.
“Importantly, Labuan is not a pandemic island, as only certain areas are affected. Therefore, there is nothing to worry about, as the situation is still under control,” he added.
