MEMBAKUT: The Kimanis Parliamentary by-election is a golden opportunity for voters to determine the future and for the sake of rapid development in the area
“I cannot do anything on my own, so I need the support of the people in this area to allow me to bring more development to this area.
“Hopefully my intention to serve the people will be answered by God,” said Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan)’s candidate Datuk Karim Bujang when met by reporters at a walkabout event in Tamu Membakut on Sunday.
“As the voting day falls on Saturday, it is not only an opportunity for those working outside the district to come home and be with family, but it is also a time for us to fulfill our obligations as voters,” he added.
Karim said the people would have to make a wise choice to elect him as the people’s representative for the development of the Kimanis Parliament.
“I pledge to be a representative of the people who truly serve the people of Kimanis.”
Karim added that Warisan as a government party winning the by-election would be an advantage to the people of Kimanis as the party will still be the government until the next general election.
“This may be a golden opportunity for the Kimanis voters to think of the positive development in this area,” he noted.
