IN collaboration with Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Blood Bank, Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu held its 4th Quarter Blood Donation Campaign at its premise recently and managed to collect 29 pints of blood.

At the same time, sister hotel Promenade Hotel Bintulu held its own campaign for the year and collected a total of 45 pints of blood for the Bintulu Hospital Blood Bank.

As organizers of these campaigns, Tiffany Midred Lo, Human Resource Manager of Promenade Hotel KK and Richard Kueh, Sales & Marketing Manager of Promenade Hotel Bintulu both concurred that this life saving initiative aims to assist health care institutions.

There is a constant need of blood supply to save lives and Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, and its sister hotels in Tawau and Bintulu are committed towards this cause, which is part of the group of hotels’ Corporate Social Responsibilities, the duo agreed.

Alden R. Gill, Recreation Executive of Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu donated blood for the 82nd time – an unprecedented achievement for the hotelier.
