Four New Covid-19 Cases

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah recorded four new Covid-19 infections today.

Three were imported cases involving two Malaysians and a Filipino while a local transmission involved another foreigner.

Caretaker Health and People’s Well-being Minister Datuk Frankie Poon said the overall infection in Sabah now stood at 415 cases.

Three of the new infections were detected in Sandakan and the fourth in Tawau.

No new recoveries were recorded, thus cumulative recoveries remain at 390 cases in the state.

Nationwide, 11 new infections were recorded in the last 24 hours, making the overall total 9,114 cases.

There are 172 active cases still being treated in the hospital.

Eight patients have recovered, bringing the cumulative recoveries now to 8,817 cases.
