Employers In S’wak Told To Register Workers For Vaccination Before April 12

KUCHING: Employers in Sarawak must register their workers for the COVID-19 vaccination programme before April 12.

Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said the directive applies to all employers, including the services, hospitality, construction, manufacturing and plantation sectors.

“They (employers) have to register their workers’ names to the nearest Resident Office before April 12 for COVID-19 vaccination purposes,” SDMC said in a statement today.

A total of 267 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Sarawak today.

Meanwhile, Sarawak State Health Department also declared three more new COVID-19 clusters today involving the Jalan Gridbid cluster in Miri, Kampung Baru Hilir cluster (Samarahan) and Jalan Tanjung Kidurong cluster (Bintulu).
