He said that the cracks occurred due to different structures as well as a drainage system of the Department of Irrigation and Drainage located under the flyover.
He said that, for the time being, his department will carry out cement grouting to slow down the structural cracking process.
“I will hold a technical meeting immediately to get detailed information on this damage,” he said in a statement here today.
He said that his department had asked the consultants involved to investigate the problem thoroughly.
Meanwhile, Kota Kinabalu district police chief, ACP Habibi Majinji when contacted said that he had instructed the police to monitor the location.
