COVID: Labuan Hits 4,000-Mark Positive Cases

LABUAN: Labuan, the Malaysia’s international business and financial centre and regional oil and gas hub has surpassed the 4,000-mark, with 159 new COVID-19 cases as of noon today, bringing the cumulative total cases to 4, 043.

The duty-free-island is still linked with four active clusters of Patau-Patau, Victoria Merdeka, Simpang Sahari and Simpang Sungai.

The Labuan’s largest office and shopping mall of Financial Park Complex is on lockdown for seven days until June 8 after the Victoria Merdeka cluster originated from the complex recorded over 200 cases as of today.
