Contributions continue to pour for frontliners in Sarawak

KUCHING: The Sarawak Branch of the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service Association (PPTDM) today donated a total of 14,800 personal protective equipment (PPE) for use by COVID-19 frontliners in the state.

Its chairman, Mohd Shahabuddin Omar said the project was initiated as a sign of support for the frontliners, who are mostly federal civil servants for their dedication in fighting the spread of COVID-19.

“The welfare of federal civil servants, in particular those serving in the state, is our main focus and objective, in the efforts of all parties to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” he said in a statement here.

Meanwhile, in another event, the Sarawak Health Department received PPE, worth RM2 million, from the Sarawak Timber Association (STA) and the Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC).
