CMCO In Kuching District Ends Friday

KUCHING: The Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) imposed in the Kuching district ends at 11.59 pm tomorrow, said the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee, in a statement today.

It said the decision was made after the COVID-19 situation in the district, earlier categorised  as a red zone area, was changed to orange status.

To that effect, it said the Kuching district will be back under the Recovery Movement  Control Order (RMCO).

“The committee wishes to take this opportunity to thank all agencies and residents in the Kuching district, especially for their cooperation in ensuring the prescribed standard operating procedure (SOP) is observed that we are now able to control local infection of the COVID-19,” it said.
