KOTA KINABALU – The initiative to publish the biography titled Abdul Rashid Harun: Antara Kedaulatan dan Pengorbanan (‘Abdul Rashid Harun: Between Sovereignty and Sacrifice’) is the best approach in promoting a sense of love, loyalty and pride for the nation.

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman Tuesday, welcomed the efforts and cooperation between Universiti Malayisa Sabah (UMS) and Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Abdul Rashid Harun in publishing the book.

“The importance of knowledge found in books cannot be denied. More so when it touches on the biography, life, career experience, national sovereignty and sacrifice of a security officer.

“Certainly the sharing through the writings contained in a book is more interesting to read and appreciate. I believe the biography Abdul Rashid Harun: Antara Kedulatan dan Pengorbanan can be beneficial in boosting motivation among policemen and officers,” he said when launching the book, here.

Musa also said that the book was most important as a source of reference especially for the future generation.
