BUKIT GARAM – It was a big boost for the new Parti Warisan Sabah when some 700 people led by UPKO Kinabatangan chief, Ismail Haji Ayub joined the party at a gathering here Saturday night.
Ismail claimed that those following him came from various parties in the constituency including from UMNO.
He said the people there had lost faith in the Barisan Nasional after supporting the coalition for many years.
Their application forms to Join Warisan was received by the party’s youth chief, Dato’ Mohd Azis Jamman.
