KOTA BELUD – A total of 789 cyclists took part in a race in conjunction with the 2016 Kota Belud Tamu Besar (Bazaar) here.

Event organising chairman Mohd Mustazar Bundah said the 35km race was divided into the men and women’s open, men’s veteran and men’s junior under 15.

“The participation this time was very encouraging and we also received participation from Brunei. The number of participants was higher than the 500 participants last year,” he told reporters after the race here Saturday.
