With Early State Polls Looming, Musa Goes Visiting His Constituency

SANDAKAN: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman visited Sandakan Wednesday, where he officiated several functions in Sandakan particularly his State constituency, Sungai Sibuga in Libaran.

Earlier, he officiated at the launching of Libaran Cooperative Mantap Bhd at Sabah hotel here and later attended the meet-the-people session event at Kg Batu Putih at Mile 7, Jalan Airport, Sandakan.

At the Kg Batu Putih, Musa gave away school bags to about 180 pupils and 10 wheelchairs to the elderly recipients, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance.

Musa also presented the Kg Batu Putih residents with the land tittle as the legally gazetted village. The village has 6,000 people and 726 houses.

Among those present at the functions were Assistant Minister of Local Government and Housing, Datuk Zakaria Edris who is the Gum-Gum state assemblyman, MP for Libaran Datuk Juslie Ajirol, Sandakan Municipal Council’s president, Datuk James Wong.
